Yes — you can organize as many tournaments as you want for free. The Free plan includes up to 8 teams per tournament. For larger tournaments and Pro features like Custom Format, predictions game or online registration, there's the Pro plan for EUR 39 — one-time per tournament, no subscription.

anstoss supports four formats: group stage with knockout round, pure league system (Round Robin), pure knockout mode and the Custom Format. With Custom Format (Pro) you can combine as many phases as you like — ideal for Champions League style, World Cup style or other multi-stage tournament structures. All formats are managed automatically — schedule, tables and knockout bracket are calculated in real time.

The Custom Format is a Pro feature that lets you freely combine any number of phases — e.g. Group Stage → Intermediate Round → Knockout Stage, just like the Champions League or World Cup. Each phase has its own schedule and table. You configure the phases and qualification rules in the "Tournament Phases" tab of your tournament.

Yes. Every tournament gets its own public page with a QR code. Spectators simply open the link or scan the QR code and see all results, tables and the knockout bracket in real time — no account needed.

After adding all teams, click "Generate schedule". anstoss automatically calculates all matchups, distributes the games across available fields and plans the kickoff times. You can adjust the order afterwards using drag & drop.

Works like an app — without the app store. You can install anstoss directly from your browser onto your home screen, on iPhone, Android and computer. Just tap "Add to home screen".

Yes. With the built-in predictions game, spectators can predict results and compete with others. Via the public tournament link they go directly to the predictions game — without registration.

Yes. With the Pro plan you activate online registration in your tournament's Registrations tab. Teams then receive a registration link and can sign up themselves — including team name, player list and jersey numbers. You see all registrations in the admin portal and confirm them with one click.

Yes. When entering results you can assign goals to individual players — the top scorers list updates automatically and is visible on the public tournament page. After each game you can also award a Man of the Match. Both are Pro features.

Yes. You can record referees and assign them to each game directly in the schedule. This way every referee keeps track of their assignments.

No. anstoss works without a subscription — you pay EUR 39 once per tournament you want to upgrade to Pro. No monthly plan, no annual plan, no hidden costs. You only pay when you actually need it.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Accepted payment methods include credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

No — since Pro is unlocked immediately and all features are available right away, refunds are not offered. If you experience technical issues, feel free to contact us directly.
